JACKSON HOLE, WYO – St. John’s Hospital Foundation, together with St. John’s Medical Center Hospice, will host its annual Light up a Life community memorial service on Wednesday, December 5, 6-7pm, in the lobby at St. John’s Medical Center.

“We invite all members of the community to be a part of the annual event that brings together families and friends to celebrate the lives of those we love and miss,” said Oliver Goss, LCSW, social worker at St. John’s Hospice. “We gather together to hear uplifting songs and light candles, as hospice volunteers read aloud the names of loved ones being remembered and honored. It is a meaningful event for so many.”

Local musicians include the Jackson Hole High School choir, as well as Swingin’ Bridges’ members John Clark, Willowstar Delia, and Mark Memmer, and Ian Gersten. Food and refreshments will be served.

Funds raised through the event provide essential support for the St. John’s Hospital Foundation Hospice Fund. Hospice provides comforting care for individuals nearing the end of their life as well as their family members. St. John’s Hospice is dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of all hospice families, regardless of their ability to pay.

With each gift of $20, a loved one will be recognized during the Light Up a Life service.
