JACKSON, Wyo. — St. John’s Health (SJH), a shining example of a strong, local, independent health system, relies on the community’s unwavering support this Old Bill’s giving season.

Across the nation, large systems are acquiring rural independent hospitals and either closing or absorbing them, leaving the communities they once served without the services they need. St. Johns’ Health’s independent status means that people have access to a wide range of primary and select specialty care.

The 2023 strategic plan contains a much overdue vision that comprehensively looked at SJH organizational needs in combination with increased regional demand of services.

The primary pillars of the plan are:

  • Drive quality and operational excellence
  • Strengthen and support the workforce
  • Expand depth and breadth of services

It is the community’s generous donations that help support  St. John’s Health’s independence and all three pillars of the strategic plan. To support St. John’s Health Foundation through Old Bill’s, visit How to Give through Old Bill’s Fun Run for Charities – Jackson Hole, WY (cfjacksonhole.org).
