TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Ever notice that Santa’s outfit matches the colors of the Aerial Tram?

Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer stopped by Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) on Tuesday, Dec. 24, to catch the annual tradition of Santa rappelling down from the Tram to visit families on Christmas Eve.

After dropping from Big Red, Mr. Claus greeted his enthusiastic visitors and posted up in front of the old tram car to chat with his constituents.

Santa’s appearance drew a substantial crowd to Teton Village on Tuesday.

Early on Monday morning, a mountain lion was spotted prowling around the Village, glimpsed outside of Hotel Terra. But no mountain lions were in sight as kids got festive at the ice rink and snow castles.
