JACKSON, Wyo. — A chilly morning gave way to abundant sunshine on Saturday for the 30th anniversary edition of Old Bill’s Fun Run.
Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer was on the scene for the Super Bowl of local nonprofit fundraising.
Approximately 250 organizations benefit from Old Bill’s fundraising; the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole states on its website that the run has raised more than $300 million over the years.
Run day turns the Jackson Elementary School field into a real scene, full of community members in costumes and festive moods. Some runners elect to complete the 5K in uniform.
This year’s festivities included a diaper derby, an inflatable slide, a mechanical bull and more. About 165 booths comprised the nonprofit village.
