JACKSON, Wyo. — Get familiar with T-shirt designs that will likely be visible in the valley for years to come.

The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole (CFJH) has announced the winners of the T-shirt design contest held in honor of the 30th Old Bill’s Fun Run, scheduled for Sept. 12 this year. Artists Grace Peck and Bronwyn Minton were crowned winners of the general contest; Minton’s teal design featuring a Teton outline and bustling pathway will be featured on the adult shirt, while Minton’s rubber duck design will adorn baby onesies and toddler t-shirts.

Free T-shirts are available to the community during Old Bill’s season. Starting on Aug. 14, they will be available at the CFJH office on a first-come, first-served basis.

“I was fortunate enough to volunteer with Teton Adaptive last year for the Fun Run and was side by side with some of their participants during the race and at the finish line,” Peck said in the press release. “I drew upon that experience while designing my submission for the contest, and hope that the artwork reflects the intersection of joy, inclusion, and community that I experienced last year!”

Finalists in the general contest were Ben Paulson and Wyatt Timboe, both students at Jackson Hole High School.

Design: Yessi Hernandez-Gonzalez

Jackson Hole Middle School student Yessi Hernandez-Gonzalez, age 11, was named the winner of the youth contest for artists 12 and under. Her design will be featured on the youth T-shirts. Colter Elementary School students and siblings Sophia Alessandro, age 8, and Luke Alessandro, age 6, were named finalists in the youth contest.

“We were so impressed by what our community dreamed up,” CFJH Special Events Officer Maeve Stewart said in a statement. “We received so many wonderful submissions – making the selection process both exciting and difficult. We had art teachers from Jackson Hole High School sharing Old Bill’s inspired projects from their classrooms and hand drawn submissions delivered right to our office door. The creativity in this community is awesome.”
