JACKSON, Wyo. — It was a festive holiday weekend in Jackson Hole as locals and visitors converged downtown for the annual Fourth of July parade.
Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer joined the throng to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Stars and stripes were in vogue.
The Jackson Police Department got into the patriotic spirit with its new cruiser, decked out in a flag-inspired decal and rigged to play “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
In addition to the parade, Jackson was on the map for the Wyoming Air National Guard’s statewide salute flyover.
Skies were clear on Saturday morning after an impressive aurora borealis display a few hours earlier.
