JACKSON, Wyo. — Welcome the sunshine with a lawn party featuring live music, puppies, a raffle, exclusive beer and citizen science info!
On Friday, May 30, Protect Our Water Jackson Hole will be kicking off summer with Protect Our Pints, a yard party hosted at Snake River Brewing. This all-day outdoor gathering is more than just a party — it’s a celebration of this community’s commitment to water ecology, safe summer recreation and local collaboration.

From 3 to 8 p.m. enjoy grilled eats and a special small-batch home brew made in collaboration with SRB and POWJH. From 3 to 4 p.m., meet adoptable puppies and dogs currently available through the Animal Adoption Center. Then, enjoy live music on the lawn by Jackson’s very own Outta Shorts from 5 to 7 p.m.
Visit the POWJH tent to learn more about their work and to take a deep dive into harmful algal blooms — one of the greatest threats to water quality. By learning about their formation, identification, and potential toxicity to people and pets, attendees can leave ready to safely enjoy time on the water and contribute to essential research and management efforts as a much-needed citizen scientist. This program is funded by a POWJH EPA grant.
Slow Food in the Tetons will be on-site sharing general information on their upcoming initiatives and summer events.
And don’t forget the raffle! Enter for a chance to win a Kokopelli Rouge Lite Packraft. Must be present to win.
See SRB’s website for details.
