TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Over the weekend, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) hosted its first-ever Teton Mountain Runs Trail Race. The event was comprised of three races: the Cirque 30K, Cody Peak 50K and the Wild 15K.
The Cirque 30K was held on Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m, Â while the Cody Peak 50K and Wild 15K were held on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participants spanned from local residents to racers from across the country. Notably, Jackson resident Andie Cornish placed first overall in the Wild 15K race with a chip time of 1:25:05.
On Saturday, competitors crossed the finish line in Teton Village after completing 30K of running on demanding terrain.
The race took runners from the base of the village at 6,300 feet to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain at 10,450 feet and back down again.
