TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) has announced that the headliner of the 2026 Rendezvous Music Festival will be The Flaming Lips. The festival is scheduled for March 28, 2026, and for the first time since the festival began, attendees will be charged for admission.
Years past have touted big names like the Avett Brothers, Futurebirds, The Head and the Heart and Zac Brown Band.
The announcement for charging admission has led to some back and forth on social media outlets.
“Rendezvous will be a ticketed event this year,” Rendezvous Music Festival responded to comments on Instagram. “Ticketing ensures we are able to maintain the quality, safety and experience guests expect from this events, and to continue bringing nationally recognized artists to Jackson Hole.”
Another change this year: Rendezvous Music Festival will not host a show on Town Square the Friday prior to the event in Teton Village.
“Town Square presents challenges to us related to traffic flow, space constraints and operational interruptions to local businesses,” JHMR’s Communications Manager Andriana Rogers told Buckrail. She emphasized that the new format allows the resort to provide more opportunities for free music throughout March.
