JACKSON, Wyo. — Red, White & Tunes takes over Teton Village as the official celebration of the Fourth of July in Jackson Hole, featuring three days of free live music, local vendors, family-friendly fun and classic Americana contests — all set beneath the Tetons.
Each day builds toward an unforgettable Fourth of July finale: fireworks are expected to light up the mountain sky on both July 3 & 4.
Live Music
On July 3, at 6 p.m. catch a live performance from the band, Steely Dead. Steely Dead is a Denver based touring band that fuses the precision of Steely Dan with the improvisational spirit of the Grateful Dead. Featuring Dave Abear (guitar), Matt Abear (bass), Chris Sheldon (drums), and Dylan Teifer (keys), the group delivers tight musicianship, fluid jams, and inventive transitions.
On July 4, at 6 p.m. head to the Tram dock to listen to a performance by Honey Island Swamp Band. The Honey Island Swamp Band delivers a high-energy, genre-blurring take on contemporary roots music, where melody, storytelling, and groove come first. Formed in the wake of Hurricane Katrina and rooted in New Orleans tradition, the band blends rock, blues, soul, and Americana into a sound that’s both timeless and fresh.
On July 5, at 6 p.m. finish the weekend out with a performance from B-Side Players. Led by Karlos “Solrak” Paez, B-Side Players bring deep musical roots and high-energy performances to every stage. Having shared the spotlight with artists like Ben Harper, Ozomatli, The Wailers, and War, their live shows are a celebration of rhythm, culture, and connection that keeps crowds moving from start to finish.
Family-Friendly Activities
Family-friendly fun fills the village all weekend long. From classic Americana favorites like pie–eating contests, potato sack races, egg tosses, and cornhole to face painting and interactive kids’ activities, there’s something for all ages to enjoy. The potato sack race and egg toss will take place on Friday, July 3, from 1 to 3 p.m. on the Games Lawn. Pre-register for the Pie-Eating Contest and Cornhole Competition.
Throughout Teton Village, guests can explore retail pop-ups and partner booths, along with additional experiences, surprises and giveaways woven into the celebration.
Local Vendor Market
The celebration unfolds throughout the village each day, anchored by a local vendor market from 12 to 5 p.m. in the Village Commons.
The market brings together regional artisans, Western-inspired goods, and curated retail pop-ups, alongside food and beverage offerings from village restaurants and visiting partners. It’s a gathering place to shop, explore and take in the best of the region — all in the heart of Teton Village.
Mountain Activities
While the festival comes to life in the village, the mountain is fully open—just steps from the lifts. From scenic rides and mountain biking to the via ferrata and ropes course, it’s a chance to step beyond the celebration and experience the Tetons firsthand.
The Deck
Sometimes the best way to take it all in is from above. Ride the Evening Gondola, settle in with casual bites and a cold drink, and watch the festival unfold from a whole new perspective. View full details here!
