JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Police Department (JPD) will host the Sixth Annual Veterans Day Ruck March and Can Drive on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. following the ceremony on Town Square.
Those that would like to participate are asked to arrive with at least 35 pounds of food for donation to Jackson Cupboard. Participants can join an 11.11 mile walk, ruck march or run through the town of Jackson.
The event is free to attend and open to all.
“Participants who wish to walk or run may leave the food at the American Legion post,” JPD shared in a press release. “Those who wish to ruck march may carry their donation with them and turn it over to the American Legion post when they finish.”
For those who aren’t participating in the event but still wish to donate, food can be dropped off at the American Legion Post #43 at 190 N. Cache. All donations will be turned over to Jackson Cupboard at the end of the day.
