JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Cyclists and pathway users in the southern area of Grand Teton National Park are advised that a pathway closure between the southern and northern portions of the Gros Ventre Roundabout is Friday, September 14. The closure will last for approximately 10 days.

During this pathway closure, experienced pathway users may travel along the highway on the road shoulder and through the partial roundabout.

The pathway closure is due to construction of the Gros Ventre Roundabout and other safety improvements along US Highway 26/89/191. Travelers should respect the speed limit in the area, be alert to changing conditions and follow the directional signing. Delays could also be possible—approximately 15-minute daytime delays, and 30-minute nighttime delays in the area. These delays are in addition to any that may be encountered with typical traffic levels.

The project is planned to be completed by the end of November. The construction schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions and other factors.
