JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation (TCJPR) announced Thursday that it had started winding down its trail grooming operations for this winter.
As of Thursday, March 21, grooming in May Park and South Park Loop has ended for the season, TCJPR said. Grooming on Cache and Game Creek will halt on Saturday, March 30. TCJPR staff will evaluate the situation at High School Loop, with grooming anticipated through Saturday, March 23.
“Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation staff would like to thank the community for a great season and the public’s patience during a shorter than normal grooming season,” the department said in the announcement.
Following a warmer weather pattern, colder and potentially snowy conditions are anticipated through the end of March.
