JACKSON, Wyo. — A new parking spot at the top of Teton Pass has been created for WYDOT and law enforcement agencies. The authorized vehicles only spot at the summit is marked with no parking signs.

“This has been an ongoing discussion here at WYDOT, and we as well as law enforcement and emergency service agencies felt that now is the time to create this spot,” Brenden Cronin, WYDOT Avalanche District 3 Forecaster said in a statement to Buckrail.

The spot will be used by WYDOT Avalanche Forecasters, WYDOT Telecommunications, Wyoming Highway Patrol and additional law enforcement agencies.
