WILSON, Wyo. — UPDATE 4/22: Mimi is home safe! After running away from friends trying to lure her home several times, her dad finally found her, threw her a tennis ball, and convinced her to come home.
People in/near Fall Creek are being asked to keep an eye out for Mimi, a dog who went missing yesterday, April 20.
Mimi is a medium-sized poodle pointer mix. She ran away from her sitter while her mom was having her human baby. She was last seen on Fall Creek Road by the first cattle guard at 8 p.m. yesterday.
Mimi is notoriously friendly, but is likely afraid and more skittish than usual. She ran from a neighbor who spotted her last night, her sitter said. But she loves popcorn and is good with other dogs.
Anyone who sees her is asked to call 307-761-2265 or 307-699-3627.
Update 4/21: Mimi was spotted at the east end of the Dog Creek feed grounds and ran back up Fall Creek, where she was spotted at about 7 p.m. Thursday in the same spot as the night before. She has been running from people who call out to her, so if you see her, please let her parents know and they will come for her.
