Local organizations to donate Thanksgiving meals to families in need

JACKSON, Wyo. — As the days grow shorter and colder, it seems that most folks fall into a time of self-reflection and contemplation for what they are thankful for. This Thanksgiving, Outpost, in partnership with Provisions, a gourmet food delivery service, will be donating prepared Thanksgiving meals to families in need.

In collaboration with the Jackson Cupboard, a program of One22 Resource Center, Hole Food Rescue, the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole and the Jackson Elks Lodge, Provisions is able to provide enough prepared food to feed up to 50 people this Thanksgiving and is hoping that it motivates community members to get into the giving mood, as well.

One22 will be taking the lead on feeding those in need this Thanksgiving, as past years’ Thanksgiving meal programs have been canceled due to COVID-19. They will be offering hot meals for pickup on November 26 at the Presbyterian Church, in addition to the donated prepared food from Provisions and Outpost. To find out more information, please visit one22jh.org.

If you would like to help community members in need, One22 is looking for monthly donors to help match a $10,000 challenge grant between now and December 31. To donate click here.

Prepared gourmet Thanksgiving meals can also be ordered through Provisions before November 19.

Outpost, Provisions and O2 Cleaning all wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving and are thankful for community, family and friends. Please stay safe and healthy this holiday season.
