JACKSON, Wyo. — The fall equinox has officially passed, marking the end of summer events in the valley. Don’t miss the final week of outdoor farmers markets before local producers start to wrap up the growing season.
Wednesday, Sept. 24, is the final People’s Market of the season. The weekly event will bookend the summer season from 4 to 7 p.m. at Center for the Arts Lawn. Live music, food trucks and beverage tents add to the community vibe. Don’t forget a reusable bag for fall produce, meat, cheese, bread and other goodies.

The final Slow Food in the Tetons Farm Stand will celebrate the end of another bountiful season with some fun additions to the normal Farm Stand operations on Friday, Sept. 26, next to Snake River Brewery. The Farm Stand will be open from noon to 6 p.m. There will be live music, beer discounts by Snake River Brewery and raffles between noon and 5 p.m. Some local producers will be in attendance, and products from special vendors will be available for purchase, like Squire Farms, Teton Maple Exchange, Tram Jam and more. The Farm Stand will also be open on Thursday, Sept. 25, from noon to 6 p.m. next to Graze Living at 890 US89. Apples, plums and squash will be in abundance at the Farm Stand.
Saturday, Sept. 27, will be the final day of the flagship Jackson Hole Farmers Market on Town Square from 8 a.m. to noon. Local bluegrass band One Ton Pig will play live tunes for the event. End-of-season shoppers can stock up on fall fruits and veggies, baked goods, local meat, flowers and more.
Each Saturday throughout the summer, vendors donate a percentage of their daily sales to a selected Jackson area nonprofit. Some local nonprofits that have been supported this summer include: KHOL Community Radio, Community Safety Network, Teton Adaptive and Snake River Fund.
“We support our local vendors and nonprofits to keep Jackson and its people thriving from great food and community connectivity,” the Farmers Market says on its website.
