Karns Meadow Educational Event Product Brand Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

JACKSON HOLE, WYO. – Journeys School of Teton Science Schools will host an educational event on Monday, June 11 from 1 to 3pm at Karns Meadow.

“Our goal is to educate the community about the significance of Karns Meadow as a local human-wild interface,” said Mariela Santelices, one of the event planners.

Community members can learn about Karns Meadow from a multitude of research-backed perspectives. The projects cover a wide range of topics. One project utilizes space-filling curves to build a filter for Flat Creek while another examines the environmental impacts that a potential path would have on Karns Meadow.

“Any member of the community who wishes to learn about Karns Meadow from research-backed student perspectives should attend. This event is a great opportunity to educate people about Karns Meadow and foster dialogue within the community,” said Mary Muromcew, a student presenter.
