JACKSON, Wyo. — Josie’s Ridge Trail, a popular hiking destination in the area, will be closed to the public for a few hours on Friday, June 21, while trail stabilization work is carried out, according to Friends of Pathways.

The trail will be closed from around 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to an Instagram post by Friends of Pathways. A helicopter will be delivering large rocks to several points along the trail, which will be used for trail stabilization on the route’s switchbacks.

“Please refrain from using the Josie’s Ridge Trail during this time period and please follow any on-the-ground signage or instructions from crew members in the area,” the post said.
