JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation (JHWF) is seeking more trained volunteer Nature Mappers for their community science initiative seeking to obtain long-term, accurate wildlife data within Teton County, Wyoming and Idaho, and Lincoln County, Wyoming.
According to a JHWF press release, a variety of projects are available for certified Nature Mappers. These projects include Moose Day, Project Backyard and Mountain Bluebird Nestbox Monitoring.
Anyone interested in becoming a Nature Mapper must attend a certification training:
- Jan. 21 in Alpine, Wyoming, from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Jan. 23 in Jackson from 5 to 7 p.m.
- Feb. 7 virtually from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- March 6 in Jackson from 5 to 7 p.m.
