JACKSON, Wyo. — On Friday, May 9, Jackson Hole Trout Unlimited will host the 11th Annual Tie One On Banquet to benefit local coldwater fisheries at Snow King Resort. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30 p.m.

This year’s banquet will include an evening of good company with dinner and drinks, exciting auctions and raffle prizes, and live music performed by Jackson Hole Community School. The event will also recognize the Bridger-Teton National Forest as Partner of the Year and Norm Callaway as the Spencer Morton Volunteer of the Year.

Over the past decade, proceeds from the annual banquet have accelerated the growth of the Snake River Headwaters Initiative, contributing to more than $9.2 million invested in local conservation projects. This year, there are planned projects on Dell Creek, Cabin Creek in the Greys River watershed and nearly a one mile stretch that is publicly accessible on the Salt River. An additional thirteen projects are in the planning phase. Proceeds have also supported TU’s work to secure flows from Jackson Lake Dam and increase watershed coordination through the Snake River Headwaters Watershed Group. Attend the banquet to learn more about upcoming projects and initiatives from TU staff and partners.

“We look forward to bringing our fishing community together for this annual fundraiser that invests in the future of our world class watershed and Cutthroat Trout population. Every dollar raised goes toward protecting, reconnecting and restoring our fisheries in the Upper Snake River,” said Kathleen Belk Doffermyre, Jackson Hole Trout Unlimited President.

Attendees at the 11th annual event will have a chance to bid on live and silent auction items, including: five nights at Mayazul Lodge in Mexico, a chance to target Tarpon, Permit, Snook and Bonefish; half day snowmobile tour at Little Jennie Ranch; guided floats on iconic fisheries like the Green, South Fork, Wind, Madison and more; hand-tied flies and quality fishing gear; locally made artwork; a privately catered dinner; lodging at local hotels and scenic ranches; a bamboo fly rod and more!
