JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Nordic Alliance (JHNA) is hosting the seventh annual free Ski, Fat Bike and Snowshoe Day at Turpin Meadow Ranch on Sunday, Jan. 12. 

Scenic views, a community of athletes and locals and winter sports will all come together for the community tradition. This celebration of winter trails recreation will include:

  • Free trail pass
  • Skate and classic XC ski demo gear from Skinny Skis, JD High Country Outfitters
  • Fat bike demos from Open Range Cycles, Wheel Wranglers, Teton Mountain Bike Tours, TMR
  • Classic and skate ski beginner lessons, mini-clinics for intermediate skiers
  • Light backcountry Nordic ski and snowshoe tours
  • Kids Corral (3 to 5 yr olds)
  • Bridger-Teton USFS wildlife and wilderness information
  • Friends of Bridger-Teton, Friends of Pathways, Teton Valley Trails and Pathways, Sublette Trails Association, GTNP Foundation, Velo22, Teton Adaptive Sports, PAWS and more local non-profits
  • JH Ecotour Adventures, Hole Hiking Experience, Peak Performance, Teton Pines Nordic, Teton Nordic XC, Turpin Meadow Ranch Ski Team, JDHCO providing lessons and activities
  • Raffle supports the JH Nordic Alliance
  • Lunch, snacks and hot and cold drinks will be available

The JHNA encourages those attending to carpool, or email hello@jhnordic.com to jump on the Shuttle provided by Teton Science School.

Pre-registration is available in English and Spanish to walk through the fast lane at the welcome tent to check-in and get to the winter trails.
