JACKSON, WY — You know it’s the middle of summer when the highly anticipated Teton County Fair arrives. All the classic fair events are back: Figure 8 races, the Fair Rodeo, and five nights of the Carnival!
Wednesday, July 24 Whiskey Myers will be headlining the 2019 Fair Kickoff Concert! Recently appearing on the Kevin Costner hit show “Yellowstone,” Whiskey Myers has begun their meteoric rise to the top. With their soulful and authentic tunes, this band can’t be summed up by a singular musical genre, effortlessly blurring the lines between country, rock, and folk. Opening act, Tasha and the Goodfellows. Gates open at 6:00pm Event starts at 6:30pm.
Thursday, July 25 marks the favorite Pig Wrestling event kicking off at 7 pm.
On Friday, July 26, check out the third year of the JH Ninja Warrior competition.
Saturday night is the Rodeo and the Figure 8 Races wrap things up on Sunday night at 7 pm.
Beyond the nightly events, each day is packed full of entertainment from local and national artists and vendors sure to please the entire family. The Fair is also a time to celebrate local farming, animal husbandry, and crafts. This event brings together all facets of the community for a week packed full of activities and entertainment.
