In the wake of last fall’s Roosevelt Fire, many homes in Hoback Ranches still need help clearing the debris.
Lend a helping hand and work together to clean up the neighborhood on June 22 and 23.
The needs are plenty: some residents need help removing debris from where their home once was; some need help clearing out downed trees; others still need help planting new vegetation. There is also still trash left behind from the fire.
Governor Mark Gordon, members of the Wyoming legislature, Sheriff KC Lehr, the Red Cross, and others are expected to participate. Pioneer Smokehouse will donate its catering services both days.
The neighborhood also needs experienced people to help take down trees on June 20-21. Richard Thomas will lead a special safety briefing, and lunch will be provided on both days. Tree cutters are asked to come prior to the rest of the volunteers for safety reasons. If you can’t make those dates but want to help, contact Andie Sramek at 307-859-8543.
Anyone interested and available should RSVP by calling Sramek.
