WILSON, Wyo. — The Wilson Bridge Project and Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) pothole patching project made for a perfect storm of traffic on May 9 for drivers using WY22 or WY390.

Traffic at the intersection of WY22 and WY390 has been backed up on and off today while WYDOT crews patch potholes. The patching work is scheduled for May 9-10 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Meanwhile, work to replace the Wilson Bridge and WY22/WY390 intersection is underway with the work zone extending from Green Lane to Emily’s Pond.

Commuters should be aware that speed limits are reduced in the work zone to 30 mph and crews are working on, or in close proximity to the road. Flaggers are also stationed on WY390 near Stilson and Green River Lane.

Drivers have been reporting up to hour-long delays during some periods today. Commuters should expect delays this evening. Work filling potholes is scheduled to resume tomorrow morning, May 10 at 10 a.m.
