WILSON, Wyo. — Crews will patch potholes on the WY22 Snake River Bridge beginning Tuesday, May 9 at 10 a.m., according to a press release from the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT).
Patching operations should be completed May 10. Work will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on both days and drivers may experience isolated, single-lane closures with alternating traffic controlled by flaggers during work hours.
“Crews hope to have the work done by Wednesday but warn drivers the operation could carryover into Thursday, as needed,” according to the press release. “Crews are hopeful that the patching efforts will improve conditions on the bridge while the area is under construction this summer.”
The work is unrelated to the current project underway to replace the bridge and intersection at WY22/WY390. The project also includes adding four wildlife crossings. The completion date for the new bridge is June 2025. The Wilson boat ramp, north of the bridge, is also under construction this spring and summer.
