JACKSON, Wyo. — Drivers, consider allowing a few extra minutes when commuting over the next few weeks.

Patching work on Spring Gulch Road is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 4, continuing for approximately two weeks with a break over the weekend. Teton County Road and Levee will work with Ridgeline Excavation contractors to improve road conditions ahead of the busy summer season.

The project is concentrated north of Spring Creek Ranch and south of Lucas Riva Ridge Road, Teton County noted. Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes, per the project announcement. Traffic will be reduced to one-way alternating traffic managed by onsite flaggers.

“The public is encouraged to use an alternate route when possible,” Teton County said in the announcement. “Teton County Road and Levee appreciate the community’s patience as crews work to improve the roadway. The schedule is designed to keep disruptions as limited as possible while completing essential maintenance ahead of heavier summer traffic.”
