WILSON, Wyo. — The Grand Teton Half Marathon and 5K race returns this weekend, from June 3-4.
The action begins at the Stilson Lot on Friday with the 5K race at 6 p.m. The event will resume the next morning at 6:30 a.m. for the half marathon.
The race begins in Wilson by running along Teton Pass Highway (HWY 22) for a little over a mile and then jumps onto a jogging trail. Runners will stay on this trail until crossing the pedestrian bridge over the Snake River. Runners will then cross onto Spring Gulch Road at about mile 6.25, then finish at Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club.
The last stretch up Spring Gulch will not be closed to traffic, although minor delays may occur as the race unfolds.
