TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Opening weekend of the Grand Teton Music Festival’s 2023 season is this Friday and Saturday (June 30 and July 1) at Walk Festival Hall in Teton Village.
Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) audience favorite James Ehnes returns to perform Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1, a work heralded by its dedicatee as the “richest” and “most seductive” of the great 19th-century violin concertos. Maestro Donald Runnicles will also lead the Festival Orchestra in a portrait of home with Mendelssohn’s “Scottish” Symphony.
Friday’s performance is from 7 to 9 p.m. but if you can’t make it, a second performance will run Saturday, July 1 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Tickets are available here. Check out the full summer event schedule here.
