JACKSON, Wyo. — Toast to new educational opportunities in Jackson Hole this Thursday at the grand opening of Central Wyoming College’s (CWC) Jackson campus.
After operating out of Center for the Arts and other temporary homes in the valley, CWC has built its first permanent campus at 2020 High School Road. The 20,300 square-foot project broke ground in March of 2025 and cost a reported $24 million to construct. The facility includes academic classrooms, a commercial teaching kitchen, nursing simulation and clinical skills laboratories, science laboratories, health care classrooms, a computer lab, student study areas, gathering spaces, faculty offices and more. CWC noted in its event announcement that the facility was designed to double the capacity of its nursing program and triple the capacity for its culinary program.
Join CWC students, faculty, staff, donors and partners for a ribbon-cutting this Thursday. Welcoming remarks begin at 2 p.m. followed by an open house and campus tours running until 5:30 p.m.
