ALTA, Wyo. — Grand Targhee Resort is excited to host two exciting races for skiers and riders this weekend: the annual Surf Classic and the inaugural North Shore Banked Slalom.
Annual Surf Classic — Saturday, April 12.
Grand Targhee’s Terrain Park Crew will turn the North Pole Terrain Park into a snowboarders paradise. Get your fill of hips, berms, spines, quarter pipes and bowls. Show off your best skills and earn your bragging rights!
- Competitor lift tickets – $40 per day
- Parent’s lift ticket- 20% off daily ticket
- Entry fee – $65 – each competitor gets a custom hat and buff.
Helmets are required for this event! Never Summer and Arbor will be providing demos on Sunday next to the Trap Bar. Raffle tickets will be given to every participant and will be available to purchase for the general public at the event!
Inaugural North Shore Banked Slalom — Sunday, April 13.
Targhee is launching the North Shore Banked Slalom for the first time ever! The banked slalom will pit riders and skiers against the clock for bragging rights and awesome prizes. A portion of the proceeds from this awesome will directly benefit the Victor Skatepark Foundation.
- Registration fee – $50
- Targhee will also provide $50 discounted lift tickets for all competitors
Each competitor will get one practice run and two race runs. Fastest time of two runs will count.
Top Male and Top Female times will win entry into the 2026 Mt. Baker Legendary Banked Slalom! Each participant will get a Surf Classic/Banked Slalom commemorative poster at registration. Competition capped at 150 competitors.Â
Registration will CLOSE on Saturday, April 12th at 12:00pm (noon).
If you sign up for the Surf Classic and Banked Slalom at the same time, you get a $15 discount.Â
