YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK — It’s happening!

Yellowstone National Park (YNP) has received a fresh dusting of snow, marking the beginning of winter weather season in the park.

YNP hosts webcams on its website that livestream park conditions, making the snowy sights visible to park fans worldwide.

The park’s North, West and East Entrances each got the snowglobe treatment. Some park roads closed to traffic for parts of the weekend.

The southern portion of the park appears to remain snow-free, for now. The storm system is expected to persist for the next few days.
