The Grand flow: biker Britney hucks JH Jackson Bicycle Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – While we are all getting our stoke on for winter around here, Britney White from Bellingham, Washington dropped a wheelie of bike stories on PinkBike that is flat drool-worthy.

The 35-year-old travelogued a story called, “Destination Tetons with Britney White” on the popular bike community website. In the pic-heavy piece, White reminded us all why we love this place in summer.

“The Tetons hold a very special place in my heart as I was born in Jackson Hole and grew up nearby. I always look forward to revisiting this magical place and it seems to never lose its western charm, hospitality and breathtaking views,” White wrote. “For our three-day trip we came equipped with downhill bikes, although trail bikes would also be a great bike choice as there are multiple spots to ride XC loops. We focused our trip between Teton Pass and Grand Targhee Resort, located in Alta, Wyoming, about a 45-minute drive from Jackson. It features over 60 miles of trails catering to XC and downhillers alike.”

White got a thumbs-up from many of the site’s commenters including BiNARYBiKE, who wrote: “Nice write up. Jackson is awesome. Probably my favorite riding destination in the Western US besides the PNW. Wide variety of trails, insane scenery, and perfect summer temperatures. The Teton Pass trails are incredible and such a convenient shuttle that you can just lap the trails. If you want to do it on the cheap, there’s awesome camping on the other side of the Pass towards Idaho. I’d steer clear of downtown completely; it’s a massive tourist trap. (Unless you’re into that sort of thing.)”
