JACKSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Game and Fish (WGFD) is scheduled to host two public meetings about regulation proposals in Jackson and Pinedale this month, in addition to a public comment period open through Aug. 4.

The proposed changes are to Chapter 2: General Hunting Regulation, Chapter 28: Regulation Governing Big or Trophy Game Animal or Game Bird or Gray Wolf Damage Claims and Chapter 42: Mountain Lion Hunting Seasons.

On July 20, WGFD will host a meeting to gather public input at the Jackson Game and Fish Regional Office at 6 p.m. On July 26, WGFD will host a meeting at the Pinedale Game and Fish Regional Office also at 6 p.m.

Written comments will be accepted through 5 p.m. on Aug. 4 at any of the public meetings, online or by mail. Mail comments to:

Copies of the proposed regulation changes are available on the WGFD website and at the address above in accordance with Chapter 1: Regulation Governing Access to Public Records.

Written comments will be presented to the Game and Fish Commission prior to their September meeting in Gillette.
