JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Fire/EMS is responding to a gas spill on the corner of N Cache and Deloney.

While they’re cleaning up, traffic is being diverted on Deloney from Cache to Glenwood.

Battalion Chief Mike Moyer says a flatbed pickup carrying a 55-gallon drum of gasoline turned the corner from Cache onto Deloney and lost the barrel. Almost all 55 gallons spilled.

Some gasoline spilled into the gutter.

Fire/EMS is blocking puddles and has spread absorbent to block the gasoline. Some has already evaporated.

The driver of the pickup will be responsible for taking the used absorbent to the recycling center. “He’s responsible for cleanup,” Moyer says.
