DUBOIS, Wyo.—Teton Valley Ranch Camp [TVRC] invites families to enroll soon as slots for summer 2020 programming are quickly filling.
A free incentive Swag Bag comes with sign-ups between Monday, November 25 and Sunday, December 1 for the 30-day residential summer camp. But TVRC advises current enrollment stands at 70% and waitlisting is possible by January.
A valley tradition of pack trips for girls and boys age 11–17 years-old, TVRC in-camp programming is scholarship eligible and features horseback riding, rodeo sports, day hikes, fly fishing, and target sports. Trip lengths span three to seven days in relation to camper age. And camp dates for boys run June 14 through July 13 while girls’ season spans July 18 through August 16.
“TVRC is a stellar opportunity for kids to learn about themselves and about leadership while growing a community that stretches the world over and lasts a lifetime,” said TVRC Director of Development and Marketing, Whitney Oppenhuizen.
Grown on the values of stewardship in the shadow of the Tetons, and linked to 501c3 nonprofit Teton Valley Ranch Camp Education Foundation, the adventure-forward trips of TVRC roam into Grand Teton National Park from their 2,300-acre ranch property of National Forest and BLM-bordering lands. Their Jackson-based operation has an eight-decade history. And TVRC permitting opens access to example of the Continental United States’ most rugged and striking lands including Grand Teton National Park, Shoshone, Bridger-Teton, Caribou-Targhee National Forests, and the Wind River mountains.
Designed to impart the skills of living and traveling in the backcountry, horsemanship, as well as a love and respect for the wilderness, TVRC residential summer camp invites boys and girls to experience first hand the power of western heritage, while reminding families the 2020 roster is filling fast!
