Emotional Skivvies with Contemporary Dance Wyoming Musical theatre Theatre Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

Witness vulnerability laid bare as dancers strip down to their emotional skivvies. This Friday from 5-6pm, Contemporary Dance Wyoming previews their work that blurs the edges of dance with physical theatre. “First Fridays” are free, informal, process-oriented and open to the public. Having an audience in the rehearsal space accelerates the creative process and allows performers to make new discoveries. Come see art in the making; come participate in the art-making.

CDW is committed to creating new work that is idea-driven, explores social issues and invites audiences to feel something authentic. CDW’s annual concert, Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16, explores our culture’s infatuation with beauty. Using a combination of sublime images, humor, powerful choreography and the spoken word, CDW reveals the layers under the selves we present to the world.
