JACKSON, Wyo. — The Snake River connects our whole community – young and old, angler and rafter, bird watcher and dog walker. The river never stops flowing, and similarly, the Snake River Fund operates year-round to support access to and stewardship of the Snake River and its headwater tributaries through partnerships, education and public outreach.

Your contributions may help us with:

  • On-Water Programs – With our wonderful partners, Snake River Fund has connected hundreds with the wonders of water in 2023. From veterans to marginalized community members to pediatric cancer survivors, we’re all about connection to the river!
  • Water Quality Monitoring – Snake River Fund leverages funds to expand monitoring on our Wild and Scenic Rivers – an invaluable pursuit to understand the health of our regional waterways.
  • Snake River Days Camp – Now in its 19th year, Snake River Fund’s week-long watershed camp gets youth paddling, angling, and sciencing! Inspiring the next generation is key for a sustainable future.
  • Promoting Responsible Water Management – The Snake River Fund and our partners are building momentum toward a Watershed Group to better balance the needs of the ecosystem with the needs of downstream irrigators.
  • Women’s Swiftwater Rescue Course – Since 2017 the Snake River Fund, in partnership with Women in the Tetons and Teton County Search and Rescue Foundation has been getting local women certified in River Rescue free of cost in an effort to build a more inclusive, better educated river community.
  • Responsible Public Land Transfers – With Snake River Fund keeping the momentum going, the transfer of hundreds of acres from BLM ownership to County ownership is closer than it’s ever been. These river-side parcels of public land will be available for open space, recreation, wildlife habitat and conservation for the enjoyment of generations to come!
  • Loaner Life Jacket Kiosks – Snake River Fund stocks and maintains life-jacket loaner stations at major access points along the Snake. This resource removes a barrier to safe, responsible river access!
  • Early Season Ramp Clearing – Each year the Snake River Fund spearheads the opening of our county-managed boat ramps to support early-season river access.

… And so much more! Your contribution through Old Bills Giving Season helps us achieve our mission with confidence and ease. Thank you!
