JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Commissioner Natalia Macker has been elected to serve as the treasurer for the Wyoming County Commissioners Association (WCCA).

Wyoming’s county commissioners elected new executive leadership from among their peers at the virtual Wyoming County Commissioners Association (WCCA) Winter Meeting. Other officers elected were Bill Novotny, Johnson County Commissioner, as Vice President, and Jim Willox, Converse County Commissioner, elected as the 2021-2022 President, taking the reins from the 2019-2020 President Troy Thompson.

Commissioner Macker is Chairwoman of the Teton County Board of County Commissioners. On the commission since 2015, Macker has most recently served as Chairwoman of the WCCA Health, Safety, and Social Services Committee and the WCCA Board of Directors. She is a gubernatorial appointee to the Wyoming Council for Women and Land Quality Advisory Board (DEQ). She advises for the Period Project (an effort to end period poverty) in Jackson and is the Wyoming delegate to Vision2020 (a nonpartisan convener of women and men committed to gender equality). She also serves as the Artistic Director of Off Square Theatre Company, a small professional theater.

Commissioner Willox has been an active member of the WCCA including being a member of the WCCA’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the WCCA Transportation Committee. He has been a Converse County Commissioner for fourteen years. Jim is a lifelong resident of Converse County, having been raised on his family’s ranch south of Douglas. He is a licensed real estate agent and businessman in Douglas.

“Having served with Jim as an executive officer these past four years, he has shown a passion and commitment to his county and this association that is unrivaled,” said Past President Thompson. “Jim, Bill, and Natalia are all enthusiastic about county issues and they have the utmost qualifications to be successful leaders of our organization.”

Commissioner Novotny was first elected as a Johnson County Commissioner in 2014 and is Chairman of the Board
of County Commissioners. He most recently served as Chairman of the WCCA Revenue Committee and has been a
member of the WCCA Board of Directors. A public affairs and political consultant, Bill has worked for Wyoming
Senator Enzi, Congresswoman Liz Cheney, Governor Mead, Governor Gordon, and as a petroleum land manager.
