JACKSON, Wyo. — Community Entry Services (CES) made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Art of Love event. The annual plate auction, now in its fifth year, was to have taken place in this fall.
“During these uncertain times we are choosing to make the health and safety of our clients, staff, and community members our primary focus,” stated CES program director Carolyn Worth.
For the past four years, The Art of Love Auction has provided crucial financial support to CES. It has empowered the nonprofit organization to enrich the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities and acquired brain injuries by providing gainful employment, daily living skills, recreational opportunities, and 24-hour support and supervision.
Because of this year’s cancelation and projected upcoming state budget cuts, the 2021 fundraiser will likely be the most important event to date.
Mark your calendars for August 18, 2021 and follow CES on social media to see previews of some gorgeous vases designed by Jackson’s most talented artists.
“We are so grateful to the generous artists who have creatively designed plates over the years and are eagerly anticipating their designs on our new ‘canvases,’” Worth added.
