JACKSON, Wyo. — PAWS offers ways to support mama cats and their kittens this Mother’s Day.

As Mother’s Day approaches, new meowing moms are going to need as much assistance as they can get. Spring is beginning to bloom and summer is on the horizon, and the PAWS shelter is gearing up for a very busy kitten season!

Kitten season is a busy time for shelters all around, and donations of kitten supplies are more important than ever. If looking for a way to make a difference this Mother’s Day, consider donating kitten supplies to the local animal shelter. Cozy blankets, nutritious food, and essential medical supplies are always in high demand and greatly appreciated.

Additionally, financial contributions can make a significant impact. Just $10 can provide vaccinations to one kitten, $25 can provide them with toys and kitten food and $100 can help with getting them altered to prevent more litters. The community’s generosity will go a long way in ensuring that every mom and her kittens receive the care they deserve.

Let’s also take a moment to reflect on the importance of spaying and neutering pets. It’s a simple yet crucial step in preventing unwanted litters, and reducing the number of animals in shelters nationwide. The PAWS Spay and Neuter financial assistance program provides spay and neuter vouchers to pet owners in Teton Valley, Idaho, as well as Jackson and Star Valley, Wyoming.
