JACKSON, Wyo. — Celebrate Independence Day at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) in Teton Village with two days of fireworks and free concerts.
On Thursday, July 3, JHMR will begin the party a day early with a free concert at 6 p.m. Pink Talking Fish, a “hybrid tribute fusion act” takes the music from three of the world’s most beloved bands — Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish — and creates a special treat for fans of the music. After the concert, around 10 p.m., enjoy the only July 3 fireworks show in the area.
On Friday, head into town for the Fourth of July Parade on Jackson’s beautiful Town Square. The parade is an annual tradition that celebrates small-town culture, ranching history, independence and community. It begins at 10 a.m.
Back in Teton Village there will be another free concert starting at 6 p.m. Joslyn & The Sweet Compression is a rising force out of Lexington, Kentucky, led by Joslyn Hampton. The band came out swinging on their sophomore album, ready to uplift and inspire through their singular and stirring soul-funk sound. They have been a supporting act for Tower of Power and Tyler Childers.
Don’t forget to swing by the tent sale in front of the General Store from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both July 3 and 4 to enjoy 50% off JHMR merchandise. The July 4 fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. to end the holiday weekend with a bang.
Finally, Friday Night Bikes kicks off on Friday, July 4, with $20 bike park tickets and 50% off downhill bike rentals from 4 to 7 p.m.
