Bull moose ends up underneath flatbed trailer on Wyo22 Road Car Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Jackson game warden Kyle Lash responded last month to a call of a bull moose that had been hit by a truck and trailer on Highway 22 west of Wilson. Apparently, the moose ran in between the truck and trailer as it passed by and ended up under the trailer.

Highway 22 between Jackson and the Idaho state line, including Teton Pass, has proven to be deadliest stretch for moose of late, with no fewer than eight being struck and killed just this summer. The nearby intersecting Highway 390 to Teton Village has traditionally been a bad stretch, but the number of moose being hit there seems to have decreased since the Wyoming Department of Transportation implemented a lower speed limit (35mph) at night.
