PINEDALE, Wyo. —The Pinedale Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest (BTNF) will temporarily close the Pine Creek/Long Lake Trailhead and parking lot, and the Trails End Campground for road construction, the agency announced Aug. 3.
The temporary closure will be for 12 hours on Aug. 8 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The closure is due to ongoing road maintenance in the area.
“If a vehicle is in the parking lot, or a vehicle is occupying the camping area they will have to wait until 7 p.m. when the closure is lifted to get their vehicle out of that location,” says BTNF.
The closure is only for vehicles. Hikers and horses can move through the area but must follow directions from construction personnel.
