PINEDALE, Wyo. — In honor of Smokey Bear’s 80th year, the Pinedale and Big Piney ranger districts of the Bridger-Teton National Forest (BTNF) are hosting a holiday coloring contest.
Coloring sheets to be used can be found online or at the Pinedale or Big Piney District offices.
A photo of completed coloring sheets should be emailed to nan.stinson@usda.gov or texted to 307-231-4322. Completed pictures can also be brought into the Pinedale Forest Service office at 29 E. Fremont Lake Road (at the east end of the Ridley’s parking lot) or the Big Piney office at 10418 S. U.S. Hwy 189.
All participants will receive a Smokey Bear ribbon (as supplies last), and Smokey prizes will be awarded in the following categories: zero to five years, six to 10 years and 10+ years old.
Submissions should include the artist’s name and a telephone number on the back of the coloring sheet. Winners will be called on Friday, Dec. 20.
