JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Jackson Broncs football team managed to land one player in the year-end “Super 25” top player list compiled by the Casper Star Tribune.
Jeydon Cox (#26), star running back for Jackson made the grade on the strength of an impressive season rushing the ball. The 5’7” 137-lb junior was a workhorse out of the Broncs’ backfield, rushing for an unofficial 2,257 yards. That’s good enough for second on the all-time Broncs list right behind Theo Dawson’s 2,283, and third best in state high school football. Jordan Roberts of Sheridan holds the all-time season rushing record with 2,688 yards in 2011.
No Broncs player has made the Trib’s list since Dawson in 2015. Still to come is the announcement of all-state and all-American.
