JACKSON HOLE, WYO – A popular dog-walking run will be closed for more than a month as contractors will be utilizing the rock quarry frequently this spring.
Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation says access to the levee north of Emily Steven’s Park will be closed Monday through Saturday from May 1 to June 15, 2019. The levee will be open for use on Sundays throughout the period. The parking lot will remain open with access to the Snake River bridge pathway during the closure.
During the period, contractors for Teton County Road and Levee will be intermittently accessing the levee with large trucks. There will be a crossing point established from the parking area and a person manning the gate to allow for safe passage for pedestrians to access the Snake River bridge pathway.
