Maybe it’s not news. Maybe it is the only hopeful news we’ve been able to report in a few days.
For what it is worth, Buckrail found this exchange today on the same forum (Facebook) that can play host to some fairly digressive and insensitive debates at times. Earlier this morning we came across an example of social media playing a pivotal and constructive role.
We found this simple dialogue on Sublette County for Sale a wonderfully encouraging example that we are still a community, a region, a state that sticks together and comes together. Three strangers help two horses. That is all.
- SM: Is there anyone with a horse trailer that can transport 2 horses from the hoback ranch area to a house off cottonwood merna area today? Any help is appreciated thank you
- JR: What time are you thinking? Do they load well? Anyone to follow or meet?
- SM: Let me find out they aren’t my horses I’m just helping the lady who owns them evacuate them
- SM: Ok [woman] said they load very well I’ll be headed up to her house in about a hr but anytime anyone is free we will be at her house trying to help her pack so we can meet u there and have u follow us to the land they will be dropped off at
- JR: Sounds good! Keep me posted here. I can help if going on now… I can hook up and be head that way in thirty and there in an hour
