JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Fair Board would like to remind the public that all tickets for the Fair night events must be purchased in person at the Teton County Fair Office located at 305 W Snow King Avenue in Jackson, or on the Teton County Fair website through the third-party ticketing agency, Etix.

Teton County was made aware that there are alternative ticket sale sites selling tickets to Teton County Fair evening events, including the Figure 8 Races, which is sold out. Tickets purchased through the alternative sites are not valid and will not be accepted for admission.

“It’s unfortunate that there are sites selling tickets that aren’t valid for our events,” said Teton County Fair and Fairgrounds Manager Rachel Grimes. “If you aren’t buying your tickets through the Fair Office or through Etix, unfortunately, they are not legitimate.”

The Fair’s most popular night event, Figure 8 Races, sold out in two days, but Grimes says there are still tickets available for the other night events, which include: The Fair Concert, featuring the Futurebirds and Flatland Cavalry on Wednesday, July 24; Extreme Medieval Jousting on Thursday, July 25; and the Fair Rodeo on Saturday, July 27. All events are held in the Rodeo Arena with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. and the event kicking off at 7:00 p.m.

For those interested in participating in activities or events at the 2024 Teton County Fair, Grimes says it’s not too late.

The Cornhole Tournament takes place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, with teams entering on a first-come, first-served basis. This year, both professional and amateur divisions are being offered and winners of each division will be awarded belt buckles and prize money.

Entries in the English and Western Dressage horse shows are due on Thursday, July 18, at 5:00 p.m. Team Sorting and Branding entries are due by Friday, July 12, at 5:00 p.m., or will remain open until filled. Non-professional Western Performance and Trail/Obstacle Course entries are due on July 25, at 5:00 p.m.
