Grace Potter, captured by Josh Llanes

JACKSON, WY— One of the most anticipated weekends of the year is upon us — it’s time for Rendezvous Fest.

A full weekend of festivities and music kicks off Friday night at 5 p.m. in the Town Square. Shows and events are split between the Town Square and Teton Village, but don’t let the jam-packed schedule overwhelm you. Read on to learn where to go, who to see, and how to get there.

What better way to welcome springtime than with back-to-back outdoor concerts? We have another full post about the big names coming to town this weekend, but here’s what you need to know about time and place:

Indie rocker Brent Cowles kicks things off Friday, March 15 at 5:30 p.m. on the Town Square. Then, rock goddess Grace Potter will rock the square for the rest of the night.

Saturday night features bluegrass favorites Greensky Bluegrass at the JHMR main stage in Teton Village. Venue opens at 4:30 p.m., music starts at 5:30. The headliner Saturday night is none other than Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats, returning for their second performance on the Rendezvous stage.

The party continues on through Sunday evening with music under the tram from local favorites Chanman Roots Band.

Getting there

The Ranch Lot and the Ranch Maintenance Lot will charge $30 for parking until 5 p.m. unless you’re in a carpool of 3 or more. Cody Lot and Crystal Springs lot will remain open only to permitted vehicles and hotel guests.

With shows happening both in town and in the village, having a transportation plan is essential. The gist of it is: don’t drive if you can at all avoid it. And JHMR is making it easy to avoid it. JHMR and event organizers have made a traffic plan to ensure guest safety, to maximize available parking in Teton Village, to provide an organized and manageable traffic flow, and to provide public transportation options for concert attendees, guests of JHMR and local residents.

SO how do you get there if you don’t want to drive? Take one of the many public transportation options JHMR is offering, in partnership with START.

Option 1: Park at Stilson Lot and take a free shuttle to Teton Village. Shuttles will run every 15 minutes from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Once Stilson is full, there will be a limited amount of parking on one side of the Beckley Parkway. Please observe and follow all posted signs and guidelines.

Option 2: START will run 19 Rendezvous-specific busses from Jackson to Teton Village and back, utilizing the normal START Green route. Three Rendezvous-specific busses will provide service from Teton Village to the Stilson lot. Rendezvous-specific busses between Teton Village and Jackson will drop off and pick up on the West side of the venue from 7-11 p.m., and busses from Teton Village to Stilson will drop off and pick up on the East side from 4-11 p.m.

If public transportation isn’t an option, consider taking taxis, using rideshare providers, or hotel shuttles.
